- Phytonutrients, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and trace elements
- The group with the name phytonutrients summarizes numerous different compounds synthesized by plants. They include for example carotenoids and citrus bioflavonoids which occur as natural substances in our foods.
- Fish oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which include in particular docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). These are polyunsaturated fatty acids which are components of cell membranes, among other benefits.
- Vitamin A, vitamin B2, biotin and niacin contribute to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes (incl. mucous membrane of the mouth).
- Vitamin B12, vitamin B6, vitamin B2, vitamin C, pantothenic acid, folic acid, niacin and magnesium contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Directions to use
How should Orthomol® i-CAre be taken?
Dissolve the contents of one packet (= daily serving) in 150 - 200 ml of non-carbonated water or fruit juice and take it together with the capsules with or after a meal every day. The two capsules contain omega-3 fatty acids as well as extracts from green tea, curcuma, ginger, broccoli and pomegranate.
How long should Orthomol® i-CAre be taken?
Micronutrients are needed every day; regular use on a long-term basis is therefore recommended.
What must be observed?
- Orthomol® i-CAre contains readily available carbohydrates (12 g per daily serving). This product should only be used with careful metabolic control in the case of disturbances of glucose tolerance.
- The recommended daily serving should not be exceeded.
- Food supplements are not a replacement for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Is there any other useful information?
- Orthomol® i-CAre is lactose- and gluten-free.
- When you take Orthomol® i-CAre, occasional slight belching (with a slight natural aftertaste) due to the fish oil content (omega-3 fatty acids) in the capsules may occur. In order to avoid the belching, it is recommended to take the capsules before going to bed.
- The vitamin B2 content may cause a yellow discoloration of the urine.
- This product contains carotenoids which have a strong coloring effect. Any stains, e. g. on clothes, are difficult to remove.
How should Orthomol® i-CAre be stored?
Orthomol® i-CAre should be kept in a cool and dry place.
